SEPHORA COLLECTION LIPSTORIES LIP BALM 05 LIVING MY BEST LIFE SEPHORA COLLECTION

Tinted lip balms are the best and easiest way to add colour and shine to your lips and cheeks. Lip balms with colour are always the way to go for a natural look or a no-makeup look. I bought this one from Sephora stores. It is called living my best life 05 from the lipstories collection.

Enriched with mango butter and jojoba oil, its ultra comfortable texture smooths the lips and hydrates them for 6 hours.

PACKAGING

It comes in cardboard paper from sustainably managed forests. Sephora responsibly developed lip balm's packaging using less plastic, plant-based ink and a glue-free, silicone-free and metal-free mechanism. Each lipstories lip balm has its own individualised illustration.

MY OPINION

The eco-friendly packaging and its fun design is what pulled me to it. The lip balm is very pigmented and it adds enough colour to the lips for you to get that pop but not as if you were wearing lipstick. A little bit of lip balm on the cheeks and spread it with your fingers makes the look more balanced and natural. Its scent is very light and its flavor is not too strong. The application of this lip balm is smooth and does a great job on moisturizing the lips. Its formulation gets absorbed pretty fast leaving my lips soft and moisturized.

However, the tint does not last too much. Initially after applying the lip balm the colour is intense and bulk. But after a while, as the product gets absorbed so does the colour which becomes lighter and lighter until it completely disappears after a few hours. 

Overall is a good moisturizing lip balm.
