CIEN FACE MASK HYDRO BOOST

Every time I have the chance to find affordable fabric masks, I like to put them to the test. Cien is one of those brands known for its value for money skincare products. Today I am going to review Cien Face Mask Hydro Boost. This is a fabric mask infused in rich serum. The serum contains pomegranate, collagen and hyaluronic acid. Hydro Boost Face Mask hydrates and refreshes dry to very dry skin.

*Hydrolyzed Collagen is a controversial ingredient in the skincare industry. Many people claim that topical application of hydrolyzed collagen adds no benefit to the skin. After doing some research I found a study from Dermatology Practical & Conceptual. The study proves that topical application of hydrolyzed collagen actually contributes to a more youthful skin. HOW TO USE

Remove the mask from the packaging.  

Unfold the mask sheet. 

Apply the mask on a clean and dry face. 

Adjust the mask to the corners of the face.

Leave on for 10-15 minutes.

Simply remove the face mask.

Use a cotton pad to remove any residue.

Depending on the needs of your skin, use the face mask 1-2 times a week.

MY OPINION

After I cleaned my face, I applied the Cien Face Mask Hydro Boost and left it on for 15 minutes. The scent was mild and didn't give me headache. The sheet of this mask is the same to the Cien Face Mask Moisture Balance. Again, the forehead part of the mask was too big for me and the holes for the eyes could have been wider.

After 15 minutes I removed the face mask. My face was wet but no dripping around. I really love Cien because it doesn't skimp on its ingredients. Cien Face Masks tend to have rich serums. Therfore, there was a lot of serum residue on my skin. So, with the help of a cotton pad I cleaned it up.

This sheet mask definitely made the skin prettier. It leaves the skin hydrated and smooth. My face looked a lot more youthful and soft. I used the mask in the evening and the hydration lasted until the next morning.

This face mask is a good option for hydrating a very dry skin.
