FARMONA SUN BALANCE PROTECTIVE FACE CREAM SPF 50

I live in Athens, the capital of Greece. I live in a country where, no matter how bad the weather has been lately, I enjoy sunshine most of the year. The sun is very important to us, humans. Our mood, our health and well-being depend on it. But even though the sun is such a big part of the positive things in our lives, it is also responsible for a lot of damage if we are not careful. Therefore, sun protection is one of the most important thing I have learnt to do every day. Farmona Sun Balance Protective Face Cream SPF 50 contains good moisturizing ingredients and can double as a hydrating day cream.

Farmona Sun Balance Protective Face Cream SPF 50 is a "mixed" sunscreen in the sense that it uses both mineral and organic (so-called "chemical") sun filters. The organic filters this face sunscreen uses are avobenzone, octocrylene and ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate. As for the mineral filters, this sunscreen uses titanium dioxide.

Protecting Face Cream SPF50 is based on the advanced system of photostable UVA and UVB filters and thermal water, buriti oil, biomimetic lipids and vitamin D booster. It is recommended for all skin types, especially for fair complexion. The cream moisturizes and tones the skin, improves its condition, restores functions of vitamin D receptor (VDR) and supports natural protection mechanisms.

HOW TO USE

Apply and spread evenly on the face. Use it 20-30 minutes before sun exposure. Repeat application several times during sunbathing.

Attention: overexposure to the sun may cause real health threat. Products with UVA/UVB filters do not provide 100% sun protection.

MY OPINION

Farmona Sun Balance Protective Face Cream SPF 50 feels great on the skin. It has a very thick velvety consistency which made me a bit skeptical at first. It took me some effort to spread the cream on my face. But once the cream was on my face, my skin immediately absorbed it. I felt like I had used a day cream because my skin looked smooth and hydrated. 

Most of the face sunscreens I've used in the past are too heavyweight for my skin but not this one. My face does not feel oily or greasy when I wear this. For sure, this is a nice face sunscreen spf 50 for daily use. I love this product from Farmona!
