GARNIER SKIN NATURALS HYALURONIC ALOE GEL WASH

Garnier Hyaluronic Aloe Gel Wash review

Cleansing the face is the primary and essential step of a good skin care routine. In addition to that, a cleanser or a face wash can improve your skin's problems or it could make them worse. For example, although I really enjoy the four seasons sunshine of Greece, over-exposure to the sun combined with the dry climate are affecting my skin. According to a study published in skin research and technology journal:''The study found significant decreases in skin conductance and elasticity and significant increases in fine wrinkles after acclimation to low humidity...''

I personally appreciate a good cleanser that is not too harsh and has some hydrating agents to it. For the above reasons, I recently purchased Hyaluronic Aloe Gel Wash by Garnier. This cleanser is from Garnier's Skin Naturals collection.

HYALURONIC ALOE GEL WASH TEXTURE

Garnier Hyaluronic Aloe Gel Wash has a clear liquid jelly like texture. When it is being rubbed on the skin it forms a white creamy texture and is easily spreadable.

INGREDIENTS

Aqua / Water,  Glycerin, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Coco-Glucoside, Coco-Betaine,  Aloe Barbadensis Leaf, Juice Powder, Vitis Vinifera Fruit Water/ Grape Fruit Water, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Hydroxide, Citric Acid, Pentylene Glycol, Salicylic Acid, Parfum / Fragrance.

MY OPINION

The product is an excellent cleanser. I like how easily it transforms from a gel to a white creamy texture that is then nicely spreadable in every corner of the face. It has a pleasant mild perfume of freshness. I can see it does a good job on cleansing the face from dirt. It also eliminates the unwanted greasiness but without leaving the skin’s surface to feel dry and rough. After rinsing and drying, my face feels clean, soft and hydrated. I am impressed.

The pump is a convenient way to regulate the amount of product you need to use. However, I have found that one pump is more than enough for cleansing my face. As I am trying for a more ethical world, I believe that some decisions we make in our every day lives can have a major impact on our planet. Half a pump is just an ideal amount of product for me.

Another thing I would like to mention, is that after the cleanser you should continue with your skincare routine. For a healthy looking skin it is important to protect your skin's barrier and prevent water loss. So, I usually use  a moisturizing cream with Hyaluronic Acid. Like Diadermine Hydralist Aquagel for which recently i wrote a review. These two products combined work very well for my skin's needs. But any face cream will do. You can use whatever moisturizer you like in order to lock in the moisture.
