BEAUTY FORMULAS BRIGHTENING VITAMIN C FACIAL SCRUB

During my skincare journey, I discovered that nothing compares to a good facial scrub. Without a doubt, scrubs are a great way to remove dead skin cells and leave the skin feeling smooth. So every time I use a facial scrub I immediately notice an improvement in the overall texture and appearance of my skin. And that is why I use to scrub my face 2-3 times a week. Lately, one product that I have been loving is the Beauty Formulas Brightening Vitamin C Micro-Polishing Facial Scrub. 

Beauty Formulas Brightening Vitamin C Micro-Polishing Facial Scrub provides a gentle exfoliation in a light, foaming gel to stimulate natural glow, as indicated on the package. All the products in the Brightening Vitamin C range are formulated with a vitamin complex that includes vitamins B, C and E to help reveal a more radiant, youthful skin. The scrub utilises micro-polishing beads to help remove dead skin cells from the skin's surface and draw out impurities. It's vegan and suitable for all skin types. 

Finally, the price-product size ratio is excellent. I think I paid around 4 euros for 150ml of product.

HOW TO USE

Use daily, morning or night. Moisten face, squeeze onto fingertips and work around the face and neck in circular motions. Take care around the eyes. Work across the skin for 2-3 minutes then rinse with clean, warm water and pat dry.

MY OPINION

In terms of skincare, I value products that work effectively without breaking the bank and this facial scrub ticks all the boxes. It is gentle enough to use in a daily bases, and it's suitable for all skin types.

First things first, it smells so good. The moment you open the cap, you get a rush of citrus scent without being too overpowering.

The scrub itself melts on the wet skin and the gel transforms into a light creamy foam that can be easily rubbed. The experience is very pleasant. It's almost like using a scrub and a cleanser at the same time. 

It's also not too abrasive, but enough to provide a thorough exfoliation. The micro-polishing beads do an amazing job of removing the dead skin and the daily grime off my face but it’s not irritating at all.

One of the standout ingredients in this facial scrub is vitamin C. This powerful antioxidant brightens the skin and helps to even out skin tone. After using the scrub my skin felt clean, refreshed, and noticeably brighter. The radiance lasts long but is not as strong as if I have used a Vitamin C serum. Overall I am impressed by its performance.

I also appreciated that this scrub didn't leave my skin feeling tight or dry as I expected because of Vitamin C. I am a fun of Vitamin C when it comes to skincare, but sometimes it can be too harsh on my skin. I guess Vitamin B and E played their role on leaving my skin feeling hydrated and nourished.

Now let’s talk about what I did’t like. The packaging is a classic squeeze tube. However, the gel itself is a bit liquid and sometimes may be too runny when trying to administer it. I got used to it after the second time.
